Crochet - I love it

I tried to learn crochet from my Mum years ago and it didn't click with me. Fortunately, the basics got through enough for me and I have been crocheting steadily for the last 3 years.  I use the Ravelry website for patterns and ideas. The crafting community is a wonderfully generous place with so many people sharing. I hope to be good enough one day to give back. Anyway here are a few things I have crocheted.
This is a hat for a new born. I did a plum and an apple.
This was supposed to be a dress that I decided to change into a cardigan. It has fitted well for 2 years. I used the pattern by Nicki Trench

A Scarf for Olivia. Pattern "Summer Sorbet Wraps" by Edie Eckman

Baby Monster Beginner Amigurumi by Allison Hoffman
Rainbow Scarf by Crafty is Cool

Viking Hat a basic crochet hat (pattern Skater Beanie by Ariane Donoghue) and I added 'horns'

Angry Birds Black Bird by Deborah Hutchinson

Big Girl Hat #1 by Laurie Laliberte

Lacey Shells Poncho by Chelle Grissam

 Poke'ball Hat by Bonnie Jacobs

My lovely husband in a Skater Beanie

My Ravelry contact is fricknit so if you have a look on there you can see a few more things I would like to make!! It's a great website and if you like to knit or crochet it is a definite must and it is free to join with lots of free and paid patterns.
